Access ELF Spelling Window

The Spelling window allows users to quickly correct mistakes in typing.

The "Not in Dictionary" textbox shows the unrecognized word. The "Change To" textbox will usually contain the system's best guess as to a correct spelling. To enter a new word, type over the Change To entry or click on an alternate in the Suggestions list.

The Spelling window can be suppressed by clearing the Apply Spell Check checkbox on the Preferences tab of Settings. Also see that topic for tips on using the buttons on the Spelling window.
